Workshop:  Freedom from Anxiety

A Brain-Based and Trauma-Informed Approach To Coping With Anxiety 

This practical and informative workshop will teach you the truth about the brain and anxiety, and its relationship to trauma.  You will also learn some practical tools you can use immediately to help reduce anxiety symptoms and find healing.

 Topics will focus on how our brain processes anxiety and trauma, including: 

* What is Anxiety?
* When Anxiety Becomes a Problem
* How Can I Overcome It?
* What is Trauma?
* How Do Anxiety and Addictions Relate to Trauma?
* What does Anxiety have to do with Forgiveness?

You will also learn practical skills for reducing anxiety in “emergency” situations or in times of distress.  Activities will follow a brain-informed approach to overcoming anxiety using interactive exercises, and will include instruction in basic skills such as diaphragmatic breathing, relaxation, grounding, and mindfulness.

This workshop will provide you with new insights and skills, providing a stepping stone to overcoming anxiety and finding freedom from trauma.
